What Guests Are Saying
Kalaloch Campground offers a stunning location close to the beach, with beautiful scenery and a pleasant atmosphere. Many reviewers praised the clean facilities and the helpful lodge staff, who provided exceptional assistance during their stay. However, some noted issues with noise from Highway 101, limited bathroom facilities, and difficulties in securing preferred campsites, suggesting that while the campground is beautiful, improvements in maintenance and accessibility are needed. Overall, visitors enjoyed their experience and expressed a desire to return.

We got a four-day reservation, and the available site was pleasant, but nearer to the highway than we would have preferred. (Traffic noise was minimal after dark, though.) The parking pad was almost perfectly level. The space was clean. Restrooms were well maintained. The nearest trail to the beach (near the "Tree of Life") was closed due to erosion ... but that was okay, as we needed the walking.
In the morning, everything was wet from ocean mist. If we had been tenting, this could have been a difficulty.

I only stayed for one night, but it was great. The bathrooms were clean, the site was clean when I arrived. There were a lot of people staying that night however it never felt crowded, which was nice.

This is a beautiful campground. It was our second time camping here, this time in early June. The weather off the ocean is a bit of a wildcard, but we were prepared for it rain or shine. Luckily we had a bit of both. Our camp spot is a bit on the small side if you have a lot of tents. We squeezed in two small and two medium sized tents with some room to spare. Bathroom are pretty good, no warm water, but they are clean and functional. The fact the campground is only about 1/4 mi from the Kalalock Lodge is lovely. We got soft serve ice-cream and extra firewood, which was a pleasant surprise.

Excellent campground very close to the beach. Lots of families. Some sites are small while others are spacious. Be sure to bring soap as there aren’t any dispensers in the bathrooms.
