Kalaloch Campground offers a stunning location close to the beach, with beautiful scenery and a pleasant atmosphere. Many reviewers praised the clean facilities and the helpful lodge staff, who provided exceptional assistance during their stay. However, some noted issues with noise from Highway 101, limited bathroom facilities, and difficulties in securing preferred campsites, suggesting that while the campground is beautiful, improvements in maintenance and accessibility are needed. Overall, visitors enjoyed their experience and expressed a desire to return.

The campground is nice because of it's proximity to the beach and tree of life, but I didn't have the best stay. Site D16 was very close to the road and their was car traffic noise the whole night. Once it was dark, our neighbors at the campsite across from us set up a big light on their camper and started playing a bocce ball game that involved throwing plastic balls on the paved road over and over again -- it was loud and annoying, especially since they only started after dark when there was not much to do except go to bed (since campfires weren't allowed).
I would also like to request that the campground add soap dispensers to the bathrooms. The bathrooms were otherwise nice.

An awesome experience. The campsite was pretty and had a view of the water. Easy access to the beach and lovely walks in both directions.
