Elkamp Eastcreek

We had a wonderful stay at Elkamp. Ideally we wanted to be a bit closer to the National Park, but we prioritized the ability to have a campfire (not allowed in the park). We are glad that we did. The camping area was very well laid out and peaceful and we enjoyed the meadow setting. The campsites were better laid out and configured than your typical national park camping site. They had soft wood chips for the tent area, and a nice picnic table and fire ring. We especially liked the espresso station in the morning! Finally, we have a Jeep and really enjoyed the offroad trails in the nearby Elbe ORV area. We will definitely be back.

This has to be the coolest campground I've ever stayed at. Large lots surrounded by old growth trees. Good fire pit to cook on. Very secure. Owner was a great guy. We visited mount ranier, Olympic national park and kolaloch beach from here. If you want an upscale spot at a reasonable price. Stay here.

This campground is a true gem! There are no bad sites and the bathrooms/toilets are super nice and very clean. The owners have truly thought of it all to make it a wonderful experience. We truly enjoyed the meadow and playing down by the stream. This place will be part of our rotation.

We stayed in this park September 7 - 9, 2025 while visiting Mt Rainier. We had our motorcycle on the back of our motor home. One of the staff members volunteered to help take the bike off the rack and then offered to help put it back on. This was way above and beyond his responsibilities. This act of kindness enhanced our visit to MT. Rainier being able to ride the bike to the park. Great people here and the park is fantastic. Well kept, clean and nestled beneath old growth trees. We will definitely recommend this park to anyone traveling to this area. If we get to go back to this area this will be our place to stay. Totally satisfied. Sorry this review is so late. This campground was wonderful. The owners were very friendly and do a great job taking care of the campground. It has a wonderful layout, is peaceful, and is close to mount rainier. We peeked in the windows of the cabin and it looks like a wonderful spot to spend a weekend. We will be coming back to say hi sometime in the future.
