July 14, 2026 Stayed at: 02, Loop: AREA CEDAR SPRINGS
No cell service, Spot 2 has a nice entry to the river. GPS will take you to the American Forks campsite. Just keep going past that one, and you’ll see Cedar Springs on the left. The camp site listed my name but we did not see the camp hosts to check on us. The pit toilets themselves were relatively clean. Quiet location, nice place to stay.

Was there during week so not crowded. Good access to a couple of rivers and Bumping Lake. Water pump needs grease and perhaps a water quality check.

The campsite (08) was really big, which was great. We loved having space for a giant tent and still plenty of room to play around, and for our dog to explore. The camp host was friendly when he came by. By and large, a great, shady campground. A
Two big negatives- the potable water was questionable. It came out very yellow, and even though we were assured if we pumped it first for 4-5 minutes it would be okay, we didn’t trust it and chose to fill our jugs elsewhere. Also, no dumpsters! We took ours to the neighboring campsite, American Fork.

Site 7 was very nice, very large tent site, with good shade cover and nice pathway to bumping river and nice rock beach at the river. Very nice large area in general with fire pit and picknic table. The distance between sites was quite large. I never felt I was too close to the other sites. The outhouses were clean.
