What Guests Are Saying
Hause Creek Campground is praised for its beautiful setting along the Tieton River, large and clean campsites, and friendly hosts. Many visitors enjoyed the peaceful atmosphere, well-maintained facilities, and easy access to recreational activities like fishing and hiking. However, some sites were noted to be overgrown or poorly located near noise sources, and there were occasional concerns about bathroom cleanliness and lack of water hookups. Overall, many campers express a desire to return.

Clean gampground, clean sani cans, small parking spurs on most the sites. There are a few pull through parking sites for anyone that didn't want to unhook and squeeze next to their trailer. Most sites would be better for tent/smaller motorhome camping. Overall clean, peaceful campground. Just a warning on parking spots.

This is our second camping trip to Hause Creek and we love it! The campground hosts were very friendly and the sites along the water are spacious. This campground is about 10 minutes to Rimrock lake and several hikes. Can't wait to return next year!

Close to water and spacious great site however it’s close to the next campsite and there was not a lot of shade would recommend a canopy for shade.

Bathrooms were new and very clean. Dogs were allowed to run off leash but were controlled by owners. Fire wood is way too expensive, lasted only an hour with two bundles. Price was okay for no water and sewer.

We had reservations at Hause Creek campground. When we arrived someone else was in our site. Very upsetting! The host (Summer) was unable to get them to leave. We did not get to stay in our reserved site. We ended up at another campground. very disappointed. Hosts need to be on the ball, not dropping it!

It is a tie as to what I should lead with, the facility or the host. Let me just say that the campground hosts were awesome, the bathrooms were impeccably clean and they were very helpful.
One of the things that was appealing to us about this Campground is its lack of amenities. We enjoy escaping technology, so a dry camp without power, water and Wi-Fi I think improves not only the camping experience but the people who Camp there as a whole. You will not see houses on wheels, but simple camping as it should be.
The trees provide shade but not privacy. You will be able to see your neighbor and they will be able to see you. But in our case our fellow campers were very respectful and although walking alongside the river took you right through our campsite I never felt invaded.
The only complaint and I assume it's only transitory is that toilets that we used were just installed but the construction site around it had not been finished, leaving sizable rocks between you and the toilet. This is not a huge issue but for an older person such as myself a bit of a trip hazard and a little bit more drama when making the pilgrimage at night. I will also add but as a minor issue our picnic table was in a degree of disrepair such that nails were exposed and supports were not really doing their job. The table was still solid and safe but it is a future maintenance item.
