Kaner Flat Campground

Had a great stay and appreciated the camp host. Quiet and clean area.

We've been coming to this campgrounds for a couple years now. The camp host in the past was questionable not very nice but this year's host was GREAT!!! She was definitely the best host yet hope to see her again next year. The campgrounds its self is wonderful. Plan to keep returning

I was not very impressed with campsite 42. When I arrived I couldn’t find my spot due to the entire camp site being used as an area to store burn piles from a downed tree. I had to clear a pile out of the way just to make enough room for a single tent 4 person tent. The site didn’t seem to have a fire pit or table but almost every other site around us did. The tables for the surrounding campsites around us were all collapsed or falling apart anyways. Also there is not a map at the entrance of the camp ground to show you where the different numbered sites are at. Be prepared to stop at every site to check the numbers or ss the map online while you have service. Was suppose to be a fun birthday trip with my dad and sister but the tiny campsite mixed with the bad weather was more of a disappointment for all of us. Probably won’t come back to this camp ground and will go back to disperse camping.

I give it a 5 star. The campground is clean and quiet. We expected to hear some motocycles, but nothing occured. The night was really peaceful.
They do have a flashed toilet on the south part. The toilet on the north looks like not flashed though.

Yep, no running water, there is a pump water which is quite clear.

Great experience with family

Great camping stop. We've been in various sites within the camp and all have been great sites.
Toilet facilities were clean .

Overall site was good. Needs quite a bit of leveling as you have to park partially off the blacktop in the site (on the driver's side) in order to have your trailer steps on the blacktop and not have a steep slope down after the last step.
I tow a 35ft fifth wheel. The site is plenty long enough for the trailer and the tow vehicle, it is just narrow in the parking area.

Spacious campsite with large flat tent area, clear of debris, and clean. Picnic table and firepit (although there was a burn ban), easy parking for 2 vehicles, and no cell service, except satellite. Vault toilets were clean and not smelly. Wasn't buggy, no critters invaded our space. Hand-pump water available. Only downfall was road noise from big trucks and ORVs passing by on the forest road, but mostly we heard the river rushing on the other side of the road. Friendly camp host, and relaxed atmosphere. Planning to camp here again.

Kaner Flats is one of our favorite campgrounds we’ve visited it numerous times over the years

We love kaner flats. Usually quite and sometimes during the week, we are the only ones there. Clean and close to the river.
