What Guests Are Saying
Little Naches Campground offers a beautiful and peaceful location along the river, with clean sites and good access to water. Many visitors enjoyed the quiet atmosphere and the abundance of hiking opportunities nearby. However, some noted issues with trash disposal, the condition of vault toilets, and a lack of oversight, which led to disruptive behavior from other campers on occasion. Overall, it remains a popular spot for relaxation and enjoyment of nature.

The campground was nice and clean and quiet. The only thing I felt should have been was a trash dumpster or at least a can. If you're going to charge to camp it should at least do that. I also noticed on up the little naches it wasn't patrolled at all. We saw at least one fire with people around it with a burn band in affect. Lots of people use that area.

Our first night was excellent—the campground was very quiet with only a few occupants, and the water pump was in good working order. Unfortunately, trash service has been discontinued (this was not mentioned during the reservation process), and the vault toilets were in poor condition, reeking strongly of ammonia. There was also no on-site camp host during our stay.
On our second night, things took a turn. A large group had taken over four campsites that surrounded ours, far exceeding the capacity limits for vehicles and tents for each of their sites. They held an all-night party with loud music that continued long after quiet hours, smoking despite the burn ban, and constant foot traffic literally running directly through our campsite—at times passing right beside our tents. The group was unapproachable, which left us with zero privacy and a very real sense of unease for our safety. With no camp host or ranger presence, there was no way to address the situation, and we ultimately left early.
What’s most disappointing is that we’ve stayed here before—when the campground was completely full—and had an incredible experience. This shows the location itself can be wonderful, but without active oversight and enforcement, it’s too easy for one large group to ruin it for everyone else.

Great location along the river, but the toilets were pit toilets that stank a bit, and they were few and far between. Otherwise great campground.

I had a wonderful time here with my husband and dog. We were right next to the Little Naches River which was beautiful. Really clean site with lots of space. There's bug catching bags hanging on trees too so all we saw around the campsite were ants. No pesky flies or bees. Fairly close drive to a spot where there is cell service if needed. So many hikes to do around the area too - for all levels of adventurers! I will definitely be back!
