What Guests Are Saying
Kaner Flat Campground offers spacious sites, proximity to hiking and national parks, and has a diligent camp host who maintains clean facilities. While some visitors noted issues with pit toilets and noise from generators, the campground is generally well-kept and provides a pleasant atmosphere, despite occasional challenges like aggressive yellow jackets. Overall, it's a great spot for those seeking a quiet and clean camping experience, though some improvements are needed.

Our campsite was clearly mark and clean when we arrived. The restrooms were clean and well stocked.
A short walk took us to the Little Naches River to play. A quick drive took us to the Naches and American Rivers, and a pond and hike at Indian Flats. We were also able to make a couple nice trips to the East side of MRNP. We hiked the Naches Peak trail beginning at Lake Tipsoo one day and up to Sheep Lake the next day.

The campsite was nice and the surrounding areas beautiful. However, mother nature wasn't on our side and it rained in the middle of the night. By morning it had quit, we went exploring came back had lunch and the rain started again. So our friends decided to pack up and leave and we did too. Was a lot of work for less than 24 hours camping. Came to the realization that we are too old for tent camping. Go explore the caves and hike up to the waterfalls.
