Great location, near Packwood, Mt. Rainier NP and US12 White Pass recreation areas.
Clean and efficient and easy to get to.
Liked the waterfalls hike.

Blue Hole was great for swimming, sites are relatively spacious, tight roads meant most sites were just tents. Mostly quiet neighbors. No potable water for Labor Day Weekend 2024. The vault toilets were absolutely disgusting!

This was our first time staying at La Wis Wis. We stayed on the C loop which is not on the water, but in a very lovely forest. The site was large and clean and very quiet. We had reserved another site, but the camp host very nicely let us move to another site which worked better for our needs.
It's a must to visit the blue hole beach, however, it is a bit tricky to walk on the rocky shore if you have any knee/foot problems.
It's about 8 miles from Packwood, so close if you need ice or wood. Packwood Brewing Company is a fun place to visit for a beer or a non-camp meal.

It was impossible to stay here. There was no potable water. We checked the website before we arrived to make sure that everything was OK, zero warning about a lack of water. The webpage clearly stated that water was available. We arrive to find the campsite empty, most of the sites reserved, but almost no one staying there, presumably because no potable water! We requested a refund and only got three dollars. Absolutely avoid this place. Terrible management as well.

Not having potable water was less of an issue than expected, though an explanation for the situation would have helped a lot. The bathroom closest to our campsite was not cleaned during the week we were there, until the day of departure. As usual, the campground setting was beautiful, one of our very favorite places to come.

Beautiful, peaceful, quiet. Site was spacious. Restrooms were clean. Camp hosts were friendly. We were in the E Loop.

La Wis Wis campground is close to the southeast entrance to Mt Rainer to go to Paradise and a good place to stay.
