The site was super pretty but with our 27 foot travel trailer we were unable to back it into the spot due to the 2 trees that are on both sides of the road. My father in law was able to use the site with his 20foot travel trailer. We ended up taking there spot in the rv lot. Even pulling all the way through the entire campground it is tight especially at the very end of the loop.

Our campsite (#74) didn't have a flat enough spot to put a tent, we ended up sharing space on another site with family we came with.

The campground was very poorly maintained for such a popular spot. I was not laid out as nicely as other nearby National Park campgrounds and there were no toilet facilities serving the campground. $18 for a 1 1/2 hour session in the pool facilities is too high a price. I'm sure the concessionaires are doing very well.

Having flown in from the UK to Seattle, Sol Duc was our first stop on our RV road trip. We really enjoyed visiting the Olympic National Park, it was beautiful and the hot springs were a real treat; our children loved dipping between the water temperatures. The toilet and shower facilities there were also really clean and clean fluffy towels are available for a fee if you chose to swim.
The RV site was just ok as we were quite disappointed at how car park like it was. As newby RVers we booked onto one of the sites with electric hook up & water on RV013 which was fine if a bit uneven however, we really wished we’d taken a non facilities RV pitch as they were in a more beautiful woodland setting and we would have been absolutely fine without electric and water for the 2 nights we were there. Be brave and go for the more wild spots!

Honestly, we were disappointed. The RV sites were in a dirt parking lot. There are no septic hookups, and the nearest bathroom is nearly a 1/4 mile away. There are NO showers available. It's a far cry from a resort. We were supposed to stay 6 nights, we left after 3. Our neighbors had 3 large dogs that barked at us every time we entered or exited our trailer to add to the "fun".

We had an excellent time, the Hot Springs, the shop and restaurant. The many trails have a wonderful choice and going to sleep with sound of the river is wonderful!
