What Guests Are Saying
The Sol Duc Hot Springs Resort Campground offers a beautiful setting with clean and well-maintained facilities, including restrooms and ample hiking opportunities nearby. Many visitors appreciated the peaceful atmosphere and spacious, semi-private campsites surrounded by nature. However, some noted concerns about noise from generators, a lack of amenities in the RV section, and the additional costs for using the hot springs, which could detract from the overall experience.

Nice campground in loop A. We hiked the 6 mi round trip from the campground to the falls and it was a perfect way to spend the day.

The RV sites are closest to the hot springs resort. The campground is further back, and all the sites are very well situated. The trails and falls are awesome even in October.

There was a man screaming endlessly in the campsite next to us for a good part of the night. When coming back from the bathrooms, there were some NPS patrol cars and rangers that told us that this man had bipolar and would be loud but he shouldn't cause anyone harm. Luckily I was sleeping in my car and mostly insulated from his loud rants, but I felt bad for the adjacent families tent camping. When we woke up at 6am (to go do the Seven Lakes Basin loop), he was gone, but judging from the trash in his fire ring, he had finished off a bottle of wine plus several beers that night.
The road to the campground is all paved without any potholes.

We had a nearly perfect stay. The weather was nice in October. I think we got lucky. The site was clean and ready for camping. It was a large site and not crowded by other sites. The round trip hike to the waterfall and back on Lovers Lane to resort then back to campsite was about 6 mi more or less and not too strenuous. Taking lots of pictures is a must do. Swimming at the resort was fun and relaxing, but expensive for 1.5hrs at $18. The restaurant there is only take out, but you can eat on site. I have been here before and will come again.

The campground itself was AMAZING! FYI make sure to sure close your vehicle windows 🤦 I unfortunately did not and woke up to raccoons in my car 🤣 that is 100% my own fault. I will say the bathrooms at the falls are absolutely the worst I've ever experienced

The RV area is well below standard for the price we paid. We didn’t have a camp host at the RV parking lot so many people who had questions would be asking us. The front desk person at the lodge was not helpful at all and we felt that a question was an imposition. Honestly they shouldn’t have a front end job!
With no Wifi or cell coverage I’m not sure how someone who didn’t book ahead would know what spot they could go into. So it’s poorly organized and the campers shouldn’t be the people assisting new arrivals.

Need to have bathroom w shower in RV area, especially for the price. Several spots, including ours, were NOT level. And our picnic table had been moved a couple of sites down. We were too small/old to move it back.
It's a beautiful spot and convenient to Hot Springs, but those are expensive, $12 for just 1 1/2 hours. It used to be that once you paid, you could come and go all day. But it does need better maintenance.
