What Guests Are Saying
Fishhook Park is a well-maintained, beautiful location with friendly hosts and clean facilities, making it a great spot for family outings and camping. Visitors appreciate the ample water access, quiet atmosphere, and the convenience of a nearby gas station. Some concerns include limited swimming access due to algae blooms and occasional discomfort from biting flies, but overall, guests express a desire to return.

The biting flies were terrible but we do love that place. we have been going there for well over 30 years. It is kind of sad how they have let the grass go. The trees need all trimmed up, there are a bunch of widow makers, saw one fall while we were there. The pp running it seemed nice enough... Hope you put some work and money into it and bring it back to what it use to be.
Thank you.

Our experience at this location was very bad because the site was very small. Our site was right next to the other site with no space in between. We also don't like the fact that the gate close at 10 pm.

An older but well maintained park. Although the map makes it look very spread out, the river, docks and swim area are only a quick walk away from the camping spots. The camping spots are well above the river level, thus the quick walk does have some vertical to it. The park is well staffed with friendly rangers and ground crew. Bring bug spray and apply soon as they have (at least in July) deer flies that have a mean bite. River access (actually Lake Sacajawea created by Ice Harbor Dam) for boating is terrific.
