Fishhook Park is praised for its beautiful location, clean facilities, and friendly staff, making it a great getaway for families and campers. Visitors appreciate the ample shade, spacious lots, and opportunities for birdwatching and water activities. However, some concerns include dry grass in certain areas and occasional noise from passing trains, along with inconsistent maintenance of tent sites and restrooms.

Beautiful park, great volunteer host. Was disappointed that the swimming beach was not available due to an algae bloom but that's not the park's fault. Will come back and bring the grandkids.

The only thing that could be better was the grass was very dry so more watering.

Usually a nice park. But grass/weeds were a foot long around some camp spots. A lot of dead grass too. Which made us think twice on having a fire.

Beautiful park. Very spread well manicured grounds and very quiet. The restrooms are showing their age but are very functional. Absolutely nothing to do in the vicinity! To me for this park that is an asset. People come here to relax. I think this draws a little bit older crowd. On our stat the park was 2/3 full and the youngest campers were over 40.
