Fishhook Park is praised for its beautiful location, clean facilities, and friendly staff, making it a great getaway for families and campers. Visitors appreciate the ample shade, spacious lots, and opportunities for birdwatching and water activities. However, some concerns include dry grass in certain areas and occasional noise from passing trains, along with inconsistent maintenance of tent sites and restrooms.

Worst camp site I’ve ever stayed at. Not a blade of grass around the entire site, but what is there is a field of tack weeds in place of the grass. We couldn’t even step off the asphalt pad. Site has zero shade. My RV is 30 ft., you have to crank the steering wheel and climb a steep grade to get out which bottoms out the RV. I had to go the wrong way to get out of the park. We left a day early and ate the cost because it was so terrible.

I just love this park! It is clean and beautifully kept up!
My only complaint was the people blasting their music at night on the shore. Not much can be done about that.
Definitely will be back!
