What Guests Are Saying
Fishhook Park is a well-maintained, beautiful location with friendly hosts and clean facilities, making it a great spot for family outings and camping. Visitors appreciate the ample water access, quiet atmosphere, and the convenience of a nearby gas station. Some concerns include limited swimming access due to algae blooms and occasional discomfort from biting flies, but overall, guests express a desire to return.

Second time being at this campground, really enjoy it every time whether camping or going for the day. My only “complaint” would be the showers/bathrooms they can be really dirty sometimes and kind of feel like it defeats the purpose of showering to get clean and the bathrooms usually have many bugs or toilet paper on the ground. Best to use the showers/bathrooms right after they clean them in the morning. But it wasn't that big of a deal for us. The wildlife is great, all the birds you get to see and hear is wonderful. I loved waking up to all the birds chirping and singing in the morning. And we even had our own little experience with Racoons, they got into some of our food. But that was our fault for leaving it out and it was more comical than anything. The swimming area is great for little ones and the dock is great for watching the sunset/sunrise, there are also little pathways from some campsites to the water (which were beautiful). Overall love camping here would go back anytime!

Clean, green spot on our way to Walla Walla. Sites were well-spaced, near the lake... a great spot.

We were pleasantly surprised with Fishhook Park but having stayed at other COE parks we probably should not have been. Beautiful park, well-maintained and the volunteer staff was extremely friendly. Bald Eagles, Osprey and Owls graced us during our stay there. The ships and the trains that passed through were actually soothing as they slowly hummed by.

As always the park is clean and we'll maintained. It is an easy park to relax and play in.

Hidden Gem! Breathtaking views of the Snake and river access. Well maintained and friendly camp hosts. Watching the grain barges and large tug boats was a bonus!
