Beautiful view of the lake, plenty of space from other sites, short walk to clean bathrooms. Lots of good hiking in the area. No cell coverage which was perfect. Campground host was helpful and sold bundles of firewood for $7 and will deliver to your campsite.

First off, the positives: the campground is in a beautiful location and you can tell the camp hosts work really hard to keep the place beautiful and clean, as well as personally checking in on all the camp sites in the evenings. The bathrooms were very clean and potable water was readily available. Unfortunately, there are way too many camping sites given the size of the campground. Some locations are better than others, but specific to site 52 there is virtually zero separation from 2 other campsites. The picture in the campsite’s page on the website is very misleading, as it does not show the reality of the two sites adjacent. It is so close that you can’t help but hear the adjacent campers conversations when they are not speaking loudly at all. Also, any future campers should be aware that the bathrooms are very close, so while it is convenient when you need to use it, you are also constantly hearing toilets flush and the door bang closed. We had not been there before, so it was a learning experience. We would be open to a couple of other sites further back, but recommend avoiding site# 52 if you are hoping for quiet and separation from other campsites. None of these things are necessarily “bad”, but this is just our subjective experience.

We were spot 33, Loop B. The campsite was clean. The bathrooms had running water. The trees and views of the little lake the dam created were beautiful. We saw a black bear on the drive to the campground and when we arrived, the trash cans near our site were not bear proof. There were dozens of berry bushes surrounding the bathrooms as well, so be bear aware. The night sky was beautiful.

This site was not only gorgeous, but huge. I’ve been on the road for 3 months and rate this the best campground I’ve had. The memory will stay with me me forever.

Very nice campground! Quiet, well spaced campsites, everything, including the bathroom, was clean and neat. The campground host was friendly and came around to check on everything politely and dutifully. The trails around the campground were well maintained and very nice.

Great way to lower the ole blood pressure! Yurt #50 is the best of the 3 yurts they have to offer! i had birds landing on my finger tips eating out of the palm of my hand early morning off of the yurt deck! plus lots of space and trails to roam! Very mellow, super chill!

Amazing RV+tent campground off the Wynochee lake, allowing for access to the expansive 15-mile Wynochee lakeshore trail and boating activities. Enjoyed a few days of tranquility in a rainforest less crowded but as beautiful as Hoh. Forest filled with Wrens, Chickadees, Jays, Towhees, Kinglets, Woodpeckers and we definitely heard a sharp-shinned hawk.
