Campground was a pleasant surprise after driving from the beach (from the west ) on the dirt road for so long. Road heading east is paved so our drive away from Coho was smoother.
Good hikes around the reservoir, however the trail needs some maintenance.
The reservation system for the Olympic National Park and surrounding Forest Service Campgrounds was booked, so it was difficult to find campsites for more than 1 night, even months in advance (so sad).

Excellent place to settle in and unwind, peacefully. Such an incredible warm and sunny breeze filled each wondrous day with joy. Was solo backpacking/car camping and enjoyed the space for solitude.

We had a great time at Coho in early September! We had an SUV and a Truck and both fit. We set up one rooftop tent and one tent on the ground and we still had plenty of space to put up our camp chairs and relax. The campsite itself is very well maintained, very clean! Bathrooms had flushable toilets, and a sink and were also very clean!! We loved the little trails throughout the campground, and it was super easy to walk from camp to the lake (even though it was too low for swimming this time of year) overall we had a great time at Coho and will be back!
