I love Coho campground. The hosts were great. I'm happy that we could buy ice daily rather than doing a 62 mi trek every day for ice. The one thing I object to is the allowance of the hydro jet boats on the lake. This is a rural, serene, area and to have those jet boats going up and down the lake for hours really ruins the tranquility of the place. The lake is only 5 mi long at the most so we are experiencing back and forth extremely loud noise for hrs. Other campers were annoyed as well. I'm not saying all boats and skidoos should not be there, I just think the jet boats should stay in a urban setting and not at the lake. Please consider restricting the hydro boats on Lake Wynoochee.

This campground is so clean and well maintained. The hosts are exceptional! We loved our stay here. The lake is also super clean and nice, and just a short walk away from the campsites.

Remarkably clean washrooms.
What a beautiful campsite with a stunning view of the lake and crystal clear water inviting you to swim. We will come back!

The Coho campground is now managed by D5 Recreation LLC and the new host would not let me move from my reserved site to a first come first serve site without paying for both sites , in the past when under different management and at other forest service campgrounds also I was able to move from a reserved site to a first come site with no additional fee. I think I deserve a refund.

We were surprised and delighted by every aspect of this campground. So well-maintained, generous, and kind hosts, spotless bathrooms, and trails that guide hikers into the lush, healthy forest. We want to return asap.

Coho Campground is accessible via Route 12, approximately 25 miles to the south. Access to Wynoochee Valley Road is available from Route 12.

Policies & Rules
General
- No commercial services available at Wynoochee Lake or Coho Campground; motorists should have sufficient fuel for the return trip.
- Reservation covers two licensed passenger vehicles and a maximum of 5 people at standard nonelectric sites; two vehicles includes any combination of passenger cars, trucks and/or recreational vehicles (boats and recreational trailers are not considered passenger vehicles); additional vehicles are $5/day to be paid within 30 minutes of arrival.
- Boat launch fee is $5; weekend boat launch permit is $5.
