We had a great time in this campground! When we arrived there where some flowers and the site is just beautiful and big! The restroom where clean, no showers.
The lake is beautiful and walking distance from the campground. There is not coverage (Verizon) but there is a hot spot that works great at the public area steps away. There are wild berries everywhere.
The camp host is nice and has everything you could need like ice, wood and more.
Getting to Olympic national park was far but the campground was awesome.
Would stay here again for sure!

First time here and it was better than anything we expected. No problem getting in with our 30ft trailer. Large private sites, CLEAN flush toilets—soap to wash hands!! Early August and though water level was low, lots of room to cool off in swim area. Great Lake for boating, jet skis, canoe, kayak or SUP.

I just really wish there was an ADA wheelchair ramp to the water for the handicapped who love to swim. It is totally inaccessible to get to the water on crutches or in a wheelchair. Thank you!

Awesome campground- quiet and remote near lake. Hosts were great and gave kids candy/treats and went above and beyond. Loved this campground. Yea for soap in bathrooms!

The bugs were hungry, although I must be past expiration because they only went after my kids. The bathrooms were clean, the site was fairly quiet, and the whole area was beautiful. Beware of google maps directions - sent us down a restricted access road (luckily the gates were open and there wasn’t any traffic). I think a couple signs directing folks to the swimming area would be nice.

Very nice campsites and relatively private. Nice trail along the lake. Beautiful beach swim. Paved road from the southeast but narrow dirt road from the west for access to the Park.

We had made online reservations but when we arrived there were plenty of FCFS sites available including our favorites in the A loop. Sites are situated far apart in this CG and ours (#13) was very private. The host was very nice and the grounds were well kept and frequented by employee golf cart drive-bys to keep the peace. We try to come here at least once a year timed early to mid July for the area huckleberries, both red and blue berries here! Another good time to come is at end of season when the leaves are turning colors. It gives you a real deep in the woods and far from civilization feeling to be out here... no phone service but there is a land line phone booth at the entrance of the day use parking. Wynoochee Falls is a favorite place to visit in the area. Swimming in Wynoochee Lake or wading in the W. River are favorite past times. Cute little Douglas squirrels can be curious and you might wake up to crows checking out your camp site in the morning so keep a tidy camp. Don't forget to bring something to fend off the bugs. Both mosquitoes and these other little black gnats like to hang out at all the wrong times.
