What Guests Are Saying

Falls Creek Campground offers a beautiful lakeside setting with excellent access to swimming, paddleboarding, and hiking trails. Campsites are cozy and well-maintained, with fire pits and nearby water access, making it a great spot for families. However, some guests noted issues with bathroom facilities, including limited working restrooms and cleanliness of porta potties. Overall, visitors appreciated the campground's charm and the friendliness of the hosts.

Great campground with good access to Quinalt Lake and many miles of hiking trails.

We had site 15, which was pretty good. While this site is labeled as having two bars T-Mobile service, it had no service at all. We had four people, two tents, and two dogs. It’s pretty close to one campsite next door, while the other side is private. Close to garbage and bathrooms, but not too close. The campground was nice, beautiful views by the water. Would come back here again.

The campsite is well located near a shop that covers all essentials including excellent white wine and hummus. If you want to stay longer there are number of first come first serve sites over a little bridge at the campground. It’s easy to move your stuff over (we did) at the end of a short trail past the last walk-in campsite is marvelous Quinault Lake. I brought my chair there every evening and saw an otter one night. The cam hosts are very obliging and the toilets are clean. #18 gets waterlogged when it rains hard so try to pitch second tents near the elevated tent square on higher ground. The looping trails nearby take one thru log growth, mossy trees and past rivers and the Lake. It’s a gorgeous place!

I love this campground so much. It lies on a beautiful mountain lake and you can hear the birds of the forest sing almost all around the clock! The big ferns and trees give this a magical touch. I can’t wait to come back!

I almost don’t want to share, but the walk in camp sites are so good! We registered for 16, which was kinda in the middle next to the trash cans, turn around and bathroom. Not amazing. But we walked out to the walk out sites and had an amazing spot near the lake that was private and beautiful. We did have a few things stolen from our campground though which is so against the “code” and kinda a bummer, so something to watch for! We will be back!

We stayed at campsite 10 which was very private, unlike many of the other sites. The campsite was clean and close to a creek and the lake - beautiful!

We loved our camping trip to Lake Quinalt. Our site 6 was close to the lake and in the morning we watched eagles fly over. The camp itself is a little tight with not much space between campsites. But honestly we were out and about the 4 days we were here. The bathrooms were clean with flush toilets.

There were many cars around our tiny campsite, which made it feel more like a parking lot. There was no privacy. There were signs posted to let people know about car break-ins, and advised not to leave anything valuable out. There were also nearby wildfires, which led to a burn ban. With no privacy, safety, or way to cook our food we just gave up and went to the lodge. We were fortunate to get the last dog-friendly room. The food at the lodge was pretty bad. I had a pizza one night and it was so soggy that it broke in half when I picked up a slice. You couldn't eat inside the lodge due to the pandemic, so we ate outside at a picnic table. There were a lot of mosquitos, but fortunately the general store sold citronella candles that mostly solved that problem. The rainforest is beautiful, though. It's too bad all these other factors sort of ruined the experience.

Great spot. Very clean bathrooms. It's a really scenic place, and the whole area is well-maintained.
