What Guests Are Saying
Falls Creek Campground offers a beautiful lakeside setting with excellent access to swimming, paddleboarding, and hiking trails. Campsites are cozy and well-maintained, with fire pits and nearby water access, making it a great spot for families. However, some guests noted issues with bathroom facilities, including limited working restrooms and cleanliness of porta potties. Overall, visitors appreciated the campground's charm and the friendliness of the hosts.

It was a good experience of the beauty of the rain forest, and the falls were especially scenic.
We took a much longer walk than we intended since there were no actual signs identifying directions at path crossings, and we misread the maps posted instead of signs, since they didn't identify where we actually were on the map.

There is only one bathroom for entire camp site, and it is partially under maintenance.
That was a great challenge for men, and has to alway wait outside the bathroom.

I would not recommend this location if you’re looking for a peaceful quiet camping experience. This location it to close to local attractions and very noisy. The camp sites are way too close.

A nice small camp ground next to Quinault Lodge and Lake. We had a nicer camp ground in the back corner next to the creek but most of the spots (especially in the middle) are quite small and exposed. It is right on the lake though and easy walk over to the lodge or to use the hiking trail that goes around the area. Overall nice site but is not the biggest and spots are fairly open to one another.

This campground is a great choice if you want to paddle the lake and hike right from your campsite. It's a short walk to the general store and lodge, and short drive to pay showers and laundry plus an additional store and restaurant.

Falls Creek campground is such a nice campground. The tucked away calm lakeside setting was the perfect place to pitch a tent and set up camp while exploring all of Olympic National Park. The sounds of Falls Creek set the tone, then watching the sunsets on the beach of Lake Quinault were awesome! I'll be back just for the campground.

The camp site was very quiet. Site 1 though would only fit a subcompact car our truck stuck out into road. The local rain forest was beautiful and Hol rain forest was only an hour away.

Site 1 had a lot of brush (bit of an eyesore) next to it that blocked the path to the bathroom (you had to walk up the one way road around a corner which felt a little sketchy or walk all the way around the loop) but other than that the campsite was nice, it had a picnic table and firepit with a grill. The area for the tent was right next to the next site which happened to be the campsite manager who had dogs that were a little loud so we moved the table and put our tent on the other side. The best part is the water access a short walk away, so glad I brought my kayak. The Quinault Loop hike was also a walk across the bridge and had a beautiful waterfall. If you're going for the hike, there are also two other campsites that are along the hike with nice spots, I think one was called Walloby Campground. Also, GPS took us to the ranger station, but the campsite is a little further down the road, there's a sign.
