What Guests Are Saying
Falls Creek Campground offers a beautiful lakeside setting with excellent access to swimming, paddleboarding, and hiking trails. Campsites are cozy and well-maintained, with fire pits and nearby water access, making it a great spot for families. However, some guests noted issues with bathroom facilities, including limited working restrooms and cleanliness of porta potties. Overall, visitors appreciated the campground's charm and the friendliness of the hosts.

So disappointed with camping site #14. It has no place for a tent to be set up. So we ended up setting up in the parking spot. This was a pretty rocky area and ended up puncturing a hole in our blow up mattress. It is right next to the parking lot for the hike in campers and offers no privacy. The picnic table is so close to the fire pit that it was hard to sit around the fire pit. There was no room for the kids to run around and play by the tent site because it was such a small area. Compared to all the other sites this one is definitely at a disadvantage and is not really even a site. The rest of the experience was great. Loved the lake and how close we were to hiking trails. Very peaceful and tranquil.

Absolutely beautiful area. Campground sites are spacious for two vehicles, additional tents, but not much privacy. The sites are close to other sites, without a lot of forest or bushes in between for privacy. Access to the lake from the campground and easy walk with your kayak, etc. Very scenic and easy day hike along Lake Quinault that passes by the lodge and then goes up into the forest. Big old growth Cedar, Spruce, and Douglas Fir trees throughout the area.

Falls Creek is a great campground right next to the Quinault Lodge. Great family loop hikes and a pleasant, quiet campground.

We planned a multi-family trip with people coming from the East Coast, California and also needed a room at Lake Quinault Lodge for my 80 y.o. mother (it was a gathering to celebrate her birthday as well). Not only was the size and privacy of the campground ideal, but to have the Lodge be a short walk by the lake away - an amazing bonus! We had a wonderful boat tour with all 13 of us booking out the boat on a beautiful summer evening - something my mom could enjoy with all of us. Walking to fishing on the lake ("foreign" boats restricted during our Aug visit - call to check before you go, website was not updated), and great hikes to drive to, the beautiful Lodge to enjoy - it was a family trip to remember!

Everything about the campground/campsite was incredible. Beautiful. We loved the covered common area, the lake...everything!!! There is so much to see and do within 100 miles of this campground. Worlds largest Sitka, the old lodge was so remarkable and amazing. Everyone was so friendly. The general store was brilliant. We LOVED Falls Creek!!

Gorgeous setting. Though some folks may not enjoy the highway noise.

What a wonderful campground. I will definitely be returning! It’s right on the lake with gorgeous views. The site is very close to many hiking trails so there’s always something to do. It’s close to a store that has many camping necessities incase you forgot anything. Overall, a memorable camping experience.
