Overall not a bad campground, a few minor complaints
Most sites not level for parking (including ours)
sites closer together than most
Men's restroom out of order, porta poties provided
Nice things include proximity to Lake Quinalt, the big historic lodge, and some nice hiking trails. A couple females commented they didn't feel safe on the trails, but my wife and I were fine on them. We did see a couple other groups out as well.

Nice campground with easy access to lake, and site is great too with creek sound. Site has pad for 7x7 tent however we were able to find place for larger tent. Bathroom situation is still same as mentioned in year old review with only one of women toilet working and men’s toilet was out of service. There were 2 portable toilet available but were out of sanitizer. Overall will definitely return

Great little campground next to the lake! Perfect for swimming and paddle boarding. Campsites were cozy (close together), but otherwise excellent. Fire pits with grills, lots of shade, easy access to water, and a nice littler creek running through things. Men's bathroom was out of order, but there were porta potties available. We found firewood a short drive away at the mercantile store in Amanda Park. This campground is also a very short walk from Quinault Lodge, which is a nice place to hang out and have a drink.

Great site, right across from the boat ramp and easy to enjoy lake views. Bathroom only had one working stall for women and there was often a line. Plenty of room for parking and tents, and water was available. Lots of mosquitos since it’s near water, so prepare for that. Great campground!

I LOVED our trip here. So peaceful. I highly recommend the walk up sites 8, 9, 10. By far the most private. There were some problems like just one working toilet plus two very full porta potties for the entire campground, there was a 2x6 missing from our picnic table and there was a stray cat around our campsite a lot trying to get in all our food but besides those things it was so serene and peaceful. Really happy with our particular campsite. Others are really exposed/not private. Lake is gorgeous and hiking is great.

Very nice campground. Has great access to forest land and is about and hour and a half to olympic NP. Very nice beach front view of lake quinault. Temporary mens bathroom facility’s were a little sub par, but those will be up soon. overall very nice!

When I reserved here, the map showed no one next to me. When my son and I arrived, we were right next to the host site. No host was ever there the whole time. I ended up answering questions and giving directions to people over and over again, acting like the host. One lady had a paid reservation and it was for site 2 which were the hosts spot. The host missing had prime beach area set up with chairs and a cooler the whole time we were there, not allowing anyone to use the area, along with their watercraft. I spent the time there watching people arrive, confused and with questions and confusion on what to do, where to go, how to pay, etc. We were not able to set up our tent until later as I had questions about where to set it up. My trip was ruined. It's our annual trip and it was a four hour drive to get there. I asked for a refund but was denied. It just broke my heart and made me feel exasperated as it took planning and money and time to go. At least if the host is going to be a complete no show, put a note of communication so people are alerted. I am not a host. But a senior whose anticipated annual birthday trip was ruined
