Quiet campground with lake and creek access at the intersection of two hiking trails and in near proximity to many other Quinault attractions.

Small campground, well appointed. Good privacy between spots.
Close to the higbut it's not a busy road so no problem with noise.
Some folks complained about this site being close to the bathrooms causing a lot of foot traffic, but we had absolutely no problem with this.
Men's toilet was out of service, two portopotties were there but they weren't emptied frequently enough...

Shh, don’t come here, I want to keep it my secret. It was absolutely an amazing small campground. You are basically either on the lake, waterfall, or a private secluded site. Beautiful quaint campground, with even more impressive trails right from campground.

These camp hosts are the best. Literally. The campground is gorgeous and it could not be in better hands for the season. If you are looking for a slice of heaven, with caring but totally reasonable hosts who understand what camping is all about- you have come to the right spot.

Site 1 had a lot of brush (bit of an eyesore) next to it that blocked the path to the bathroom (you had to walk up the one way road around a corner which felt a little sketchy or walk all the way around the loop) but other than that the campsite was nice, it had a picnic table and firepit with a grill. The area for the tent was right next to the next site which happened to be the campsite manager who had dogs that were a little loud so we moved the table and put our tent on the other side. The best part is the water access a short walk away, so glad I brought my kayak. The Quinault Loop hike was also a walk across the bridge and had a beautiful waterfall. If you're going for the hike, there are also two other campsites that are along the hike with nice spots, I think one was called Walloby Campground. Also, GPS took us to the ranger station, but the campsite is a little further down the road, there's a sign.

The camp site was very quiet. Site 1 though would only fit a subcompact car our truck stuck out into road. The local rain forest was beautiful and Hol rain forest was only an hour away.

Falls Creek campground is such a nice campground. The tucked away calm lakeside setting was the perfect place to pitch a tent and set up camp while exploring all of Olympic National Park. The sounds of Falls Creek set the tone, then watching the sunsets on the beach of Lake Quinault were awesome! I'll be back just for the campground.

This campground is a great choice if you want to paddle the lake and hike right from your campsite. It's a short walk to the general store and lodge, and short drive to pay showers and laundry plus an additional store and restaurant.
