What Guests Are Saying
Falls Creek Campground is a lovely spot nestled near Lake Quinault, offering beautiful views, well-maintained sites, and a peaceful atmosphere for outdoor activities like hiking and kayaking. The campground features friendly hosts, convenient access to a general store, and nearby trails for exploration. However, some sites may feel cramped, and restroom facilities can be limited, making it essential to plan accordingly. Overall, it’s a great destination for campers seeking a scenic and enjoyable experience.

Rain Forrest hike is arelatively short 4 mile loop from the campground and was great for young kids (5-9 year olds). Site 20 is right by the creek/waterfall and best spot in my opinion. Campground bathroom is small (only one stall in the mens) and there are no showers; however there are paid showers a mile up the road at the rain forest resort by the post office.

Such a beautiful campground and the hike around the lake! In the morning, I would take a short walk to the lodge where there was seats next to the lake. I sat there watching the water and the birds that were flying or floating nearby. It was beautiful!

Cute campground, site 021 doesn't have a lake view, but is close to a river/waterfall so that sound drowns out the noise from neighbors and the road pretty well. The sites are small and close together but still peaceful. It was raining when we arrived but the tent pad was slightly raised and didn't have any standing water. Hosts did not sell firewood but you can pick some up from the Mercantile just down and across the road for $6 a bundle.

Each lot is a bit too close with neighbors, besides the privacy, everything else was great!

Beautiful campground all surrounded by trees! We missed our turn (or the sign) for the campground when driving in but easily saw a sign when heading back the other direction. The bathrooms and trash were close and well lit. It was nice being close to the lake with amazing views and everything you need is close by in town or just outside of it. Would stay again!

My stay here was peaceful and I could have kicked myself for not bringing my kayak as the lake was steps away from the campsite. Will definitely stay here again!

The sites near the lake are great! We saw the Milky Way, loons and rabbits. The local raccoons got the neighboring dogs on alert in the wee hours. The trail to the Lodge was convenient!

The '20 and '21 Camp Hosts are the greatest. My extended family has been coming to the Falls Creek Campground every summer for about 25 years and these camp hosts are by far the very best. Camp is clean, the vibe is solid, the rules and expectations are clear and even the dogs behave! It was a pleasure to see the Camp Hosts return for a second year and I sure hope to see them back in '22.
