Camp ground was beautiful. The pull through spot was a bit challenging with our trailer but overall loved the location.

This campground is nice and quiet. Not crowded at all if you like that. You have the beautiful Cispus river right here at the campground. The downside was campsite 16 wasn’t maintained very well. It was overgrown with weeds and sticker bushes. The camp pad was nothing but large weeds that we had to pull. Also this site is on a slope where the picnic table and campfire bin are located . Not flat if you are bringing your own chairs.

If you're seeking peace and quiet, you should know that there is a huge generator right across from site 0 that has to run 2 hours every night and morning. It was almost 9 PM and the generator was still running, well past 2 hours.

Larry was the host and I gotta say amazing! My husband and I got camping a lot, but I always dred the bathroom even more so when they are vault toilets. But these ones were amazingly clean and didn't even smell bad. The campsite was clean when we got there the atmosphere was great. No problems and with a great view of the river we had a blast. Shot out to Larry for being an amazing host!

Because of road closures due to area forest fires that made for a 9 hour drive, we arrived at 10:00 only to find that the site we had reserved was not long enough for our 24’ trailer. Although it was late our camp host Ira directed us to the perfect site (#10). I can’t say enough about Ira. He’s relaxed, helpful, and interesting to talk to. He’s full of info and kept the camp clean. Thank you Ira!

We have been going camping up at the North Fork for 75 years. It is still our families "go to" for rest and rejuvenation. We have seen many changes over the years and not all of them good but we still benefit from our visits.
This year we were extremely disappointed. Many if not all of the trees between the first two spaces on the river had been cut down. On inspection a couple of them seemed to be rotten and needed to come down but not all of them. Then, instead of doing a proper clean up, the trees were just felled over the river and left. Not only did that obstruct our view but it was being climbed on by kids. That is a very unsafe situation.
The camp host is a very necessary position. We have, over the years, enjoyed many of them. This year however, not only did we never see the host, they started their personal generator very early every morning with no regard to who might still be sleeping. That is VERY poor camping etiquette and the host should know better.
Over all, this was our worst visit in 75 years.

great location, well maintained. Horrible gunshots from hunters? traumatized from urban gunshots, no escape?
