Walupt Lake Campground offers a beautiful and serene setting with clean, well-maintained facilities and friendly hosts. Campers appreciate the quiet atmosphere, ample shade, and gorgeous lake for activities like swimming and hiking. Staff was kind, checking in got pretty confusing (no signs or instructions when arriving to say what to do). Once we made it to our spot it was clean and organized. Tucked away in the woods and a lot of space between sites was definitely a plus. It did get a little noisy throughout the day but at night it was dead silent. Plenty of hikes and trails all nearby. And at the end of the day taking a swim in the crystal clear lake makes for a refreshing stay.

I like the campground just fine. I do not like the online reservation/registrations. Very unclear and confusing. The information from website and camp-host not the same. I been coming to this campground for several years, but not sure if I will come back any time soon.

Someone had already setup at the campsite I had reserved. The camp host was helpful, but I ended up having to track them down as they were hanging out at a different campsite with some friends. While they had left a campfire burning at my site! Anyway, it turns out that they had my site for the next night and decided to come a day early. They claimed that the sign at the campsite with information about it's availability was not updated when they showed up earlier, so they assumed that it was not reserved. Whatever. I ended up switching to another campsite that was available which was not nearly as nice. It was a pain.
Campground was packed and noisy. Pretty lake though!
