A variety of activities await visitors at the open air Swan Lake Kitchen. Located within the Swan Lake Campground, the group site is situated on a large, flat open space near the beach. The kitchen itself is located up the hill from the beach in the trees. The kitchen is accessible via a staircase from the parking area and a path from the beach. A day of swimming, boating, fishing or hiking can be topped off with a trip to the kitchen to wind down and enjoy a group meal.
Originally built in 1936 by the Civilian Conservation Corps, the site was historically preserved in 2009 and retains its charming historic character.

Families enjoy the fun of jumping off the dock and hiking around the lake, creating a memorable experience. The group site offers peace and privacy, making it a favorite for annual visits. Be aware that trailer turnaround is limited, requiring careful parking.
It was clean. Quiet.
I don't think they knew we were going. They had signs up announcing the reservation before us & after but not us. So a lot of people we walking in our campsite. But left when they saw us.
One of the best group sites to rent out. It's peaceful and your not bothered by anyone and can't hear other campers with the distance between us. We come every year!
The kids loved jumping off the dock. We hiked around the lake. When they say “No trailer turnaround” they mean it. We had to back our trailer into the lot. Loved our time there and are already planning next year’s adventure.
Great camp spot! Plenty of room; quiet; kitchen shelter is great! One thing that should be advertised is that you’ll either need to back your trailer in or back it out. Not enough room in the parking area to turn a trailer longer than ~16’.
