Site #61 was spacious, with one table and many options for setting up tents, but rather rocky. There were some good size trees for shade and hanging a hammock. This site is close to a vault toilet, which was mostly clean. The nearby water tap was broken, so needed to plan a little more carefully for kitchen needs. Access to the river was easy and refreshing for cooling off.
We would stay again!

We come here every year with our kids and their families. The cooper river is great for tubing and just parking your chair in to cool off. The Cle Elum river on the other side of the campground has a nice deep swimming hole under the bridge. There are trails for hiking and just down the road is Lake Cle Elum. The past 2 years we've seen the bears visiting the dumpsters so be aware they are in the area. Lock up your food.
