Barrier Dam Campground

This is a wonderful campground for Families! Faculty were friendly, helpful, and available. It was very nice to have big waste bins at each campsite for garbage. Camp sites give enough space for the whole family while also allowing enough privacy from others camp sites. The mens restroom was fairly clean and functional, the women's room had many spiders and one of the toilets was down. Otherwise great camp site for the family.

Came down to fish the barrier dam. If you don't have it or forgot it, this tackle shop has it! Friendly staff and shop pets. Very peaceful camp sites and many options to choose from.

Clean campground, excellent customer service and brilliant hospitality. We stopped by for a few days to celebrate the end of commercial gillnet season. Jeffrey was prompt, friendly and informative and made the check-in and camp store purchases of ice and fishing tackle a breeze. Lee was a kick in the pants and really gave the place the southern hospitality feel. He’s a great fishing guide as well, his boat is pristine and we highly recommend going to pull plugs with him; it’s the trip of a lifetime with a very experienced fishing guide.

We’ll certainly be back for more! Highly recommended if you’re ever out this way.

Very friendly owners. Check-in was quick and easy. Our spot was perfect! Great selection at the little store they have, fire wood, ice, snacks, drinks! They even delivered our firewood to our campsite! Bathrooms were always stocked. Nice little playground for the kids, too. Great place to enjoy the outdoors without having to drive hours from home! No complaints!

Well, where to start. We needed a place to stay and this was the ONLY place that had any available sites. So we reserved 3 nights sight unseen. $35 a night for water and electric. No dump. I guess you would call this a fishing camp. That makes it sound ok for it to be in such disrepair and bad condition. It looks like no one does anything to maintain it. Just park and get your money. It is not invested in this place. This camp is by far in the worst condition of any we have stayed since traveling the past five months. It had permanent campers, just parked and left that were in nasty condition. The sites were all dirt. Our picnic table was missing a leg so they had it propped up on a slope in the ground. When we tried to move it to make room for the RV the leg on that side fell off exposing rotten wood and nails. There is no way anyone could use that table without getting injured. I called some other camps in the area hoping they might have a cancellation but there was nothing available so we had no choice but to stick it out so we could do Mt. Rainier and Mt. St. Helens. That being said, it was quite. I’m just glad we were off sight seeing most of the time because the place was quite depressing. Would not stay there again. I don’t understand people that don’t take care of things. See the photos.
