A bear came into the campground all four nights we stayed there. It overturned garbage cans and made quite a mess. Two game commission men came from La Grande and said they were bringing in hounds to chase the bear away or track it down if necessary. People in tents were quite concerned with a bear roaming around!

Great campsite. Real flushing toilets, WOW. And cleaned daily. The campground is designed quite well. Each camp site is isolated from others so privacy is good. The trail around the lake is well maintained.

This is one of my favorite places. The rope swing is so fun! The lake is gorgeous. Lots of wildlife! Quiet and clean. Just fabulous!

The only thing I liked about this site is the Lake. The campsite host was rude, extremely confrontational and demeaning. I understand the danger of a fire, but there is NO need to be disrespectful and confrontational when approaching the situation. It would be more beneficial if she could approach the situation in a polite manner and educate people instead of assuming everyone is there intentionally breaking the rules.
She’s an older lady with a very bad attitude and ruined our camping experience, kids got scared and started to cry because of her approach regarding a fire complaint. The next we saw her arguing with a different camp spot and it looked like the situation was getting out of control, making everyone feel very uncomfortable.

A very nice, clean campground. Jubilee Lake offers many sites with spacious areas for large tents. Many also have good RV or Motorhome options. Bathrooms were clean and well maintained. Nice walking trail around the lake. Although we did not fish saw others were having good luck at catching fish.
