I would rate Jubilee lake campground excellent if they would only grade the 10 miles of extreme washboards on the gravel road to get to the campground.

Jubilee lake is an absolutely beautiful place to visit! However I wouldn’t recommend staying at the RV park if you need to use a generator. It’s an awkward campground because the spots are all pretty close to each other, but they don’t have any hook ups. Each time we fired up our generator within the appropriate hours to use the A/C (we have a newborn), to let the kids watch a movie (can’t have a campfire) or to make coffee, we had someone come talk to us about it - first the camp host, then the forest service guy (who were both very nice about it) to make sure we knew what the hours were and one salty man from a neighboring site asked us “how long he had to listen to our generator.” We weren’t inconsiderate about it and did not have it running for long periods of time, but we will not be camping at this campground again. Better to camp near the lake, but on a primitive site!

This is a beautiful location and good swimming. What really made it great was the camp host, Peache! She was so helpful and friendly. I would return in a heartbeat if I knew she was there. Somebody who loves what they do makes all the difference. Thanks for the great time!

Camp host was EXCELLENT. She was available and made frequent rounds around the park. Ensured quiet hours were adhered to, as well as, clean up, helping resolve issues with campsites, etc. It was VERY nice to have a camp host after years without. The campground will surely benefit. Less garbage littered around the lake, less chaos. Please have this camp host back in the future, she was phenomenal.

From Weston, Oregon: Travel 20 miles east of Weston on Highway 204. Turn left (north) onto Forest Service Road 64. Follow the road for 12 miles and the campground entrance will be on your right.
From Elgin, Oregon: Travel 21 miles northwest of Elgin on Highway 204. Turn right (north) onto Forest Service Road 64. Follow the road for 12 miles and the campground entrance will be on your right.
