Jubilee Lake Campground (OR)

We had a wonderful time! It was quiet and cool. We had no idea that the lower part of the world was burning around us until we came off the mountain and found the scorched fields and closed roads. We pray that the fire does not spread and burn the campground. It would be a HUGE loss! The only thing that we wish we had known in advance was that 3/4 of the bathrooms in the park were closed and massive trees are down all over due to damage from the horrendous windstorm last winter. As we don't hike and have a travel trailer prepared for dry camping it was not a problem for us, but it looked like it was very uncomfortable for lots of other people.

We like this place we go every year but this time half of the bathroom was closed so was not the best to go all the way from the other side to look for bathroom

We have been going here every year for the last 9 years. Truly beautiful, and mostly quiet.

This was our first time in Jubilee Lake camp ground and my wife and I loved it. It is beautiful. We liked the distant spacing between campsites and the site we stayed in (#45) was very quiet. The hiked around the entire lake is absolutely beautiful. We never saw the campground host but that was OK. We did notice trash all over the place. It is such a beautiful campground but the trash kind of put a sour taste in our minds.

The water to the top-half of the camp ground was off, all the bathrooms were closed, and the portapotties were all full. The fish cleaning house was closed. There was a huge fire danger while there was dead trees and over grown bushes everywhere.
