Jubilee Lake Campground (OR)

We were in spot 11, which we liked. Not quite as much shade as some others, but enough, level enough, and close (but not too close) to limited amenities. The lake is beautiful, clear, and a great break from the heat. There is a lovely walk that takes you all the way around the lake (the only really buggy part of the lake is on the far side, but you'll want bug spray). A number of folk had floaties, kayaks or even small boats (nothing more than small fishing motors allowed, I believe). Overall, my family loved it and hope we can stop by there again. By the way, the gravel road that you travel for the last few miles is not nearly as bad as some would have you believe, at least it wasn't for us. Just take your time and enjoy the trees.

The reason I gave it a 4 and not a 5 is that when we went it had only been open for a week and there was garbage and large amounts of ash in our fire pit and garbage all over the site (meat chunk, corn cob, bottle caps, candy wrappers, and straw wrappers from juice boxes.).
We will plan a family trip there next summer because we all enjoyed the overall experience.

Very nice but did have a lot of people taking a shortcut through our campsite, could use some obstacles to discourage that. A lot of garbage along the trails, we picked up a large bag of it. I guess that is to be expected these days. No enforcement of rules about quiet hours or bicycles not allowed on trails. All things considered, was a great experience and will do it again. Camp ground was very clean, quiet and keep. Site host was exceptional. The three mile walk around the lake each morning was amazingly scenic, easy hike, nice trail in great condition. We had kayaks that we floated the lake with each day and enjoyed this area. Definately coming back!

Camp host was EXCELLENT. She was available and made frequent rounds around the park. Ensured quiet hours were adhered to, as well as, clean up, helping resolve issues with campsites, etc. It was VERY nice to have a camp host after years without. The campground will surely benefit. Less garbage littered around the lake, less chaos. Please have this camp host back in the future, she was phenomenal.
