What Guests Are Saying
Big Pines Campground offers a beautiful and well-maintained setting along the Yakima River, with spacious sites and excellent access for river activities and nearby hiking. Guests appreciate the clean restrooms and the serene environment, ideal for birdwatching and fishing. However, some visitors noted issues with train noise, site reservation mix-ups, and a lack of privacy due to close campsite proximity.

Nice facilities, setting, paved level sites and easy access. A bit off the beaten path but scenic. No water or dump. Nice day use/boat launch area, though the river moves right along there... Convenient location for our frequent trips between Oregon and BC.

Poison ivy by the river everywhere. Be careful. Your dog can bring it back on his hair

It is a lovely location, and the sites have a feeling of privacy. We loved hearing the train going by!

This is a beautiful area. We hiked up the trail across the road from the campground for some nice views of the valley. There are also some nice hikes at the Umatum site up the river. We saw lots of birds and wildflowers there.
