What Guests Are Saying
Big Pines Campground offers a beautiful and well-maintained setting along the Yakima River, with spacious sites and excellent access for river activities and nearby hiking. Guests appreciate the clean restrooms and the serene environment, ideal for birdwatching and fishing. However, some visitors noted issues with train noise, site reservation mix-ups, and a lack of privacy due to close campsite proximity.

We had 2 spots for 4 nights it was so much fun. We were right on the river. We floated it several times our dogs got to go too. Only one night of people having a party after hours but it was no big deal. We will definitely be going again.

This is a good spot to stay for a few nights.
The good:
There is river rafting and hiking available. It is right on the River.
The not so good:
There are no hookups at all. There is no cell service for about 10 miles. The fees almost double the cost. Close to $30. For this price I can stay a few nights with full hookups. There were a lot of people and activity going on.
If you are into the River and you like being out of contact with everyone, then this is your place. If you want your phone and hookups I would look for something else.

Big Pine with gravel was a lot cleaner. As Roza was dirty camping area.
Would be nice if it was gravel in the picnic areas.
