What Guests Are Saying
Big Pines Campground offers a beautiful and well-maintained setting along the Yakima River, with spacious sites and excellent access for river activities and nearby hiking. Guests appreciate the clean restrooms and the serene environment, ideal for birdwatching and fishing. However, some visitors noted issues with train noise, site reservation mix-ups, and a lack of privacy due to close campsite proximity.

Lovely small campground with excellent access to trails and the river. We went in the fall and it was quiet and peaceful. Note however that right next to this is a private very large group campground, which if occupied would totally change the ambiance.

It was late in the season but the campground was still very busy. So I am asking why all the restrooms were not open? I cant say I am a fan of a two night minimum stay required to make online reservations.

Campground is very nice! Only reason a 5 star review was not given was due to the time wasted trying to figure out how to obtain the actual permit for the stay. Would be nice if the email or website had explained that the permit would be waiting for me at the campsite.
Make the reservation a little more user friendly please. Thanks
