Riverfront ATV Resort

My wife and I stayed at this beautiful campground and we absolutely recommend Riverfront for anyone looking for a nice quiet campground with close, easy access to the trails. The grounds are beautiful with restaurant /campstore and cabins overlooking the property while the RV sites are laid out along the river bordered by greenspace. There is a nice common use pavilion and multiple fire rings in the greenspace along the river banks that makes for a beautiful view when waking up in the RV or cabins each morning. We cant say enough about how wonderful Aliceson, Randy, and the entire staff are. The hospitality and service from everyone made us feel like family. We highly recommend the restaurant whether your staying at the campground or simply getting off the trails for a quick bite to eat. The food is awesome and service has never disappointed. The entire campground is clean, well-kept and is the perfect base-camp whether riding the trails or enjoying the many outdoor activities of the area. We'll surely be back again.

We’ve driven past the billboards and seen the signs, but today we finally stumbled upon Riverfront ATV Resort—and what a find!! We came off Trail 10, rode just a few minutes down the road, and there it was! Of course, we had to check it out.

First impression: they’ve got a super cute little shop with t-shirts, snacks, trail passes, and all the trail essentials. But the real magic happens in the back… the restaurant. One look at the menu and we were hooked—shrimp, crab, salmon, steaks! This is no burger stand, friends. We stayed for dinner and WOW—what a meal. The salmon with a delicate maple glaze was melt-in-your-mouth amazing, and the crab cakes, served right on little shells, were as beautiful as they were delicious. Every bite made us want to try the entire menu.

We didn’t get to tour the cabins since guests were arriving, but from what we saw—wow. Gorgeous setups with hot tubs, stunning views, and the rushing river just steps away. The whole property feels like a hidden gem tucked into the trails, with the kind of relaxing ambiance you can’t fake.

Riverfront ATV Resort is hands down the best kept secret in town. We’ll be back soon because I need to try EVERYTHING on that menu. Highly recommend making this a stop on your ride—you won’t regret it!

My wife and I recently ventured to Riverfront ATV Resort in West Virginia for our first-ever ATV getaway, and it was an experience that went beyond our expectations. The resort itself is a gem, tucked away in a location that perfectly blends convenience with the call of adventure.

Upon arrival, we were greeted by the pristine condition of the resort. It’s evident that the management prioritizes cleanliness and upkeep, which makes for a welcoming first impression. The staff at Riverfront are among the friendliest we've encountered. They were not only welcoming but also very helpful throughout our stay, ready to assist with any queries or needs we had.

We stayed in one of the small cabins, which was perfect for our needs. It was cozy and efficiently laid out, providing a comfortable retreat for a hot shower and a good night's sleep after a day out on the trails. The cabin appeared almost brand new, both inside and out, and provided all the comforts and amenities one could wish for in such a rustic setting.

Speaking of trails, the resort's proximity to Trails 10 and 17 is ideal for any ATV enthusiast. These trails offer varied landscapes and challenges, suitable for both beginners and seasoned riders. The convenience of having direct access to these trails from the resort can’t be overstated—it allowed us to maximize our time on the ATVs and truly enjoy the natural beauty of West Virginia.

Overall, our stay at Riverfront ATV Resort was nothing short of fantastic. It’s a perfect spot for anyone looking to explore West Virginia’s trails while enjoying comfortable accommodations. Whether you’re a first-timer or a frequent ATV rider, Riverfront provides an excellent base camp that combines adventure with relaxation. We’re already looking forward to our next visit!

We stopped there to eat and check out the cabins.. will definitely be booking here. Fabulous, large area outside and very peaceful views and access to the water. Very friendly staff. We got a light lunch And really enjoyed it. My son had their buffet before and loved it.

My husband and I stayed at this beautiful campground along with four other couples last week. I can’t say enough about how wonderful Allison, Randy, and the entire staff were. That treated all of us like family and stopped by with their family to wish one of our friends a happy birthday! We ate in the restaurant several times and never disappointed! The grounds are beautiful with the river right at the rv sites which we really enjoyed. Nice swings down by the water. Kayaks available, store, showers, etc. We were so impressed and will be back for years to come! We’ve already booked our trip for next year! Thanks for the hospitality! Y’all are top notch!
