About Burnsville Lake Shelters

The shelter is right by the playground. It’s shady and close to the restrooms. It’s clean and easily accessible. We had a wonderful time!

Better mapping would be helpful. I rent a shelter every year and I don't ever remember having so much trouble. I have gone to the same place the last few years but my family wanted to go back to the place we used to go but I wasn't sure of the site number. I know I used to be able to find mapping with the sites numbered but I couldn't find that. I finally drove there but the gate was locked and I couldn't get in. I plan to drive there again today and park at the gate then walk in. Hope I don't get arrested!!
