What Guests Are Saying
Gerald Freeman Campground is a beautiful and peaceful destination, well-loved for its family-friendly atmosphere, clean facilities, and scenic surroundings, including easy access to water for fishing and kayaking. Many campers appreciate the relaxed environment and friendly staff, making it a favorite spot for repeat visitors. However, there are some concerns about the maintenance of the grass and bathhouses, as well as the need for better Wi-Fi and more full hook-up sites.

Need to add more full hook ups and add WiFi. This would make it a more relaxing and attraction to the camp ground.

I spent nearly 2 weeks here at the end of the season. Sometimes as the only camper in the campground. I had a wonderful time and found lots of great places in the area. While there is no cell service, I was able to use Starlink with no issues. I took several video in the area. My final one of the trip is here https://youtu.be/S9Wzs0f6Qm8

This is a great campground! Beautiful setting with flat lots and more hilly lots. Really enjoyable for kids as lots of places for them to ride bikes and playgrounds. Easy kayak launch. Very clean restrooms. Little shop and snack bar with ice cream, some food and wood.

my site was well situated, close to the pavilion, which was handy since I do not have a rain awning. The creek offered good background scenery. excellent park.
