What Guests Are Saying
Gerald Freeman Campground is a beautiful and peaceful destination, well-loved for its family-friendly atmosphere, clean facilities, and scenic surroundings, including easy access to water for fishing and kayaking. Many campers appreciate the relaxed environment and friendly staff, making it a favorite spot for repeat visitors. However, there are some concerns about the maintenance of the grass and bathhouses, as well as the need for better Wi-Fi and more full hook-up sites.

Quiet place. We visited at the end of the season but great access and beautiful night skies.

This is one of our favorite locations to camp. The campground is in excellent condition with all your amenities. Having a campsite next to the water for fishing and floating is an extra plus. The extras are the view of the nightly sky is absolutely phenomenal, the peaceful evenings and having no cell service really helps you step away and relax.

The campground was well kept, grass mowed and very clean. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars was the bathhouse . The bathhouse did not have soap and smelled a little off. Really a minor issue. Also, the wood sold at the campground was not seasoned. But again, the campground was quiet, everyone was friendly, and the outdoor areas were fantastic. Will definitely stay here again.

Grass was so tall at our campsite that we could not even use the outside area or the fire pit. Good thing we were camping with others. No one was cleaning up the sites after someone left and before the next person checked in.
