The campground was very nice and the camp hosts were excellent, very nice people. However the gate was shut and locked after a certain time and we were not about to drive our vehicle back to the camper when we returned late one night. We had to park outside the campground and walk there. Also this campground does not offer a weekly rate or a monthly rate. It is a flat $40.00 per night which is quit expensive if you wish to stay more than a few days and enjoy the lake and surrounding nature. We will not be back unless they start offering a weekly rate.

I always enjoy camping at Riffel Run. I do have 3 complaints.
1. Can only pay by debit or credit card. Not everyone has one or the other!
2. Our neighbor in front of us had an xtra light that he put out at his parking, only thing is it covered our front of our camper and not his. I like it completely dark to sleep and did not appreciate his light shinning into my windows. It should had covered the front of his camper!
3. People not picking up their dog poo!
