Always a pleasure to camp at Riffle Run! We love it there and look forward to our next return. You don't have tv, phone or internet access here unless you purchase it or get Star link, etc. We had star link this time and so this was not a problem for us any longer on rainy days when we could not get outside or wanted to get news. This campground is so peaceful and enjoyable that if the weather is not bad you really don't miss those amenities. This campground is well maintained and bath house and laundry area is a little older but clean. Staff is very helpful and they don't hesitate to be there if you have a problem or need. There is a brook that runs down one side of the campground into the lake. The lake is beautiful and has some good fishing, kayaking and boating. The marina also serves a lunch special if you find yourself without food. There is a good Dollar General store and convenience stores with gas in Burnsville if you forget something or just a short trip down the road to Flatwoods to a Super Walmart, fast food places, truck stops and shopping. The road that leads to the campground has some pretty rough places in it where the road has been patched. I do recommend that you take it easy on your speed from Burnsville to the campground, as the road is a little narrow and sometimes has rock that has fallen in addition to the rough spots and deer. Not a horrible road, but just beware of these things as it can pitch a camper or motorhome more than you might realize and is fine if you take your time.

Very clean. Nice and quiet. Only complaint it there should be no wifi fee after paying 92 dollars for 2 nights, additional 30 wifi fee for 2 devices is bit much.
