Gate was locked and we couldn’t get in. No idea why they locked a gate to a campground since it also locked inside the people already there.

We love camping at Riffle Run. Its a peaceful campground to relax with your family. They are close to the river so you can fish, swim or rent a boat. All around one of the most beautiful campgrounds around.

We really enjoy all elements of Riffle Run campground which includes the ease of registration, the fishing, the availability of hookups with water, electricity, sewage, and the safe environment. Not to mention the beautiful lake views. But it’s the campground staff and volunteers who make the experience especially enjoyable. The willingness of these individuals to go out of their way to provide a wonderful camping experience from the time you roll in until you leave, makes it more like leaving family. We always left feeling like we couldn’t wait to come back home.
