Was surprised how nice the camping areas were and the shower/ restrooms. I loved where our camping site was and the trees that surrounded it. I love the woods.
The workers were very polite and nice. This is great.... Thanks you

Nice area, friendly staff and neat facilities. Not great for biking due to the hills but trails for hiking were nice.

when driving the motorhome or towing take the southern route to access the campground. Rts 46, 42, 50. takes approx 8 mins more but so much less stressful than no lines and no or crumbling shoulders and the steep switchbacks of the northern and eastern routes.

This campground is fantastic! Feels like it’s in the middle of nowhere so it’s so quiet and peaceful. The night sky is amazing and dark with the Milky Way clearly visible. Lots of great, friendly camp hosts. We love this place!

The campground was quiet, spacious and clean. Folks were friendly. Make sure you verify the route going in. We followed Google maps which took us over the mountain from McCool. Very difficult with a rig. The lake was perfect for paddling; we did not try to fish. The one issue that peeved us was when we were packing up to leave and running a little late. At 12:02 (checkout was at 12:00), a camp host came over and asked us if we knew we had to leave that day. Clearly we were dismantling the site. It was a little rude. Next time we will know that there is no leeway on time.
