Reservation was easy to make. Directions to shelter could be better. We turned into the main parking lot and had to ask someone. The shelter was a nice size for our group of 40. Grills were in good condition and bathroom was nearby. Trailhead next to the shelter was nice for some of our group, who took a hike. The setting is beautiful and shady, with mature trees and rhododendrons.
