Two of the bathrooms were closed due to water issues, during our stay. It would have been great to know this in ADVANCE & have had the opportunity to reschedule. This made camping there very inconvenient.
This park needs more staff & seems to have fallen into disrepair.

I've been to Trout Pond many times. We do a yearly camping trip. I love this area!!! The beach area is great and so are the camp sites. I recommend this camp ground.

My family and I have been coming to Trout Pond for nearly ten years. We love the solitude and serenity that Trout Pond provides. The park is nice. The surrounding area provides hikes and beautiful views, and we've had nice interactions with the camp hosts. With that said, of late, we have had some complaints though. First, this year the restrooms and showers were out of service when we arrived. As far as we could find, there was no mention of this on their site, nor was there mention when I called the park with a question. Second, our site was trashed by previous campers. Bottle caps, food, and half burnt trees (not logs or sticks. Trees) were scattered around the camp site. I know this was the actions of campers, not the camp hosts or park personnel, but it should have been addressed and cleaned before new campers arrived.
