My quesadilla was amazing!!! I got the el pastor (pork). Never had pork taste so good. The service is top notch. Seating area in the back with TV! Love the atmosphere. Check it out! You won't be disappointed! My goal is to work through the whole menu. 😁

Summersville Lake Retreat & Lighthouse was so amazingly beautiful in late April 2026. We stayed in our 5th wheel home for 2 nights and were first greeted by Bill at the gate who got our paperwork and explained how to get in/out of the security gate. Then an easy drive to our spot #32. Gravel but fairly level spot. 100% hookups and even a trash can to deposit all of our trash next to the rig. We purchased a bundle of firewood from Bill, and he delivered it to the campfire pit for us. That bundle was 2 full nights of having a nice warm fire. The park is very clean and you can even purchase a token from the store to walk up the lighthouse. It is just a mile or so from the lake and Dam so we took a ride there and walked around. So beautiful. We would highly recommend staying here, and we will be back!!!

This is the third time that we have stayed at Summersville Lake Retreat as we use it as a stopping point on our way to Myrtle Beach. The campground has a great view, is easily accessible from Rt 19, clean, well run and the staff is very friendly. I would recommend this campground to anyone, short or long stays.

We stopped here in our motor home for a one night stay en route to NC. The campground is perfectly located right off of Rt 19 and near many stores. The grounds are immaculately kept. We were greeted by a person on a golf cart who led us to our site. We chose the large pull through site, which afforded a beautiful view of the forest and the lake. There was a nearby playground. Later on the day that we checked in a person came by asking if we needed firewood or ice. They also have a huge dog run, probably the biggest I've ever seen. There was also a smaller dog run, which would have suited our smaller dog better but it was closed at the time. The larger run had a big gap under the gate, which my dog was able to crawl under so beware with smaller dogs. We will definitely stay here again.

David was a fantastic host!! His place was spotless and beautifully maintained! His hospitality truly stood out. Bill, the camp host, was also incredibly warm and friendly. We’d absolutely camp here again. The location is perfect, just a short drive to a great swimming spot where the whole family can enjoy the water and take in the stunning scenery.
