Yokum’s Vacationland

This whole area is amazing. We love staying in the fisherman’s cabins. Took my son and daughter in law there for the first time in February. Even though everything was frozen solid we had an incredible time. The staff in the store are great. Very friendly. We’ll definitely be staying again.

The couples retreat has a wonderful view. The Yokum family bent over backwards to make sure things were comfortable.

Luke and Sam are amazing hosts. We’ve been going to yokum for years and each year we plan to go back before we even leave. They are very accommodating. Cabins are very clean and have everything you need. I highly recommend staying at Yokum. Thank you for being such great hosts.

Only 2 things..1)beds were not comfortable, the cabin was really nice but we slept horrible and 2) we didnt realize it was right beside the road and cars/trucks FLEW past

We stop at the store here for the fudge when we pass through the area. We have rented a cabin in the past and would gladly do it again but we're trying to use our camper these days instead. We want to rent a spot at the Princess Snowbird for our camper but it looks like slim pickings for hookups. Most of the full hookup sites appear to be occupied by full timers with built in decks and sheds and such, so we're going to try staying there with our Kodiak truck tent sometime instead. We have our site picked out already! The grill in the back of the store does a pretty good job with chow. Sometimes fried food a little overcooked but ok. Nice people, large variety of supplies for hiking and camping. Views of the Seneca Rocks all around. The Old Country Store next door is worth a look too. They have the original old cash register...and I mean old! The Discovery Center is across the road and there is a firewood cart outside of the Princess Snowbird Campground (at least there was in June).
