What Guests Are Saying

The Sutton Lake Picnic Shelters provide a beautiful setting for events, with newly updated bathrooms enhancing the experience. However, there were issues with the reservation system, as some guests encountered confusion over shelter availability and cleanliness concerns, including debris and odor from trash bags. Overall, the location is appealing, but improvements in management and maintenance are needed for a better experience.

Low shelter cost for all day rental compared to all others I searched. Perfect location for easy access to lake.

The grass was knee high, pavilion was filthy, and the bathrooms were closed. If the sites weren’t maintained, I wish I would’ve been notified of such before planning an event with small children. Definitely not worth $80 under the circumstances.

We were at picnic pavilion no. 3 beautiful view of the lake, plenty of room and and plenty of parking. If you had a handicap person with you, you could drive them right up to the pavilion. If you come be sure to bring plenty of bug repellant, Small mosquitos were terrible all day long. My suggestion to those who take care of that area need to spray often. Other than that it was a very nice place.

The picnic shelter is great and has a beautiful view of the lake and marina. It comfortably accommodated our group of 35 and is in close proximity to a playground for children. Our only problem was that we had a few elderly and one handicapped. The bathrooms at the "beach" are not an easy walk for individuals who have any mobility issues. It is a pretty steep decline/incline getting to and from and they were the only restrooms unlocked. These individuals had to take their car to use the restroom facilities.
