Lake Sherwood is praised as a beautiful, serene location perfect for families, offering clean facilities, hot showers, and friendly staff. Guests enjoy various activities such as kayaking, swimming, hiking, and making memories. While some facilities need improvement, particularly in cleanliness and water availability, many campers cherish their experiences and long-standing connections to the area.

Camped in West Shore Loop and it's very well kept. All the facilities were clean and orderly, and the camp hosts were great.

1st year in a long time that the grass was mowed in all the West Shore campsites when we arrived! The campground looked nice, the restrooms were clean and kept clean by the hosts. They did a wonderful job!!

Lake Sherwood is our family’s favorite place to camp. Our family has been camping there since it was opened to the public. It would be nice to have an outside bench at each bathhouse.

The National Park Service needs to invest in getting electricity and water to all the campsites at Lake Sherwood. With modern campers it needs to upgrade to support and get younger campers. People running their generators is a little loud.
